Founder of The Twelve

Elizabeth Seery, Founder of The Twelve

For much of her professional career, Elizabeth Seery worked privately and discreetly with individuals operating at unusually high levels of achievement, responsibility and visibility.

A Career Built Privately

Her background is in psychotherapy and human behaviour, working confidentially with entrepreneurs, senior executives, business leaders, public figures and others whose professional and personal circumstances demanded an exceptional degree of discretion. That discretion was fundamental to the work. As a result, Elizabeth’s professional history has never depended upon public visibility, social media, personal promotion or the disclosure of those with whom she has worked. Her reputation was built privately — through trust, results and recommendation.

What Success Can Conceal

Over time, one pattern became increasingly clear. The challenges faced by highly successful people are rarely the result of insufficient intelligence, ambition, strategy or opportunity. More often, progress becomes constrained by something less visible: entrenched patterns of thought and behaviour, internal conflict, outdated assumptions, decision-making habits, or ways of operating that were once valuable but have quietly become limiting.Elizabeth developed a particular ability to recognise those patterns quickly — including the ones that can remain concealed precisely because an individual is otherwise functioning at an exceptionally high level.

The Evolution of the Work

The Twelve represents the evolution of that work.It brings together twelve carefully selected individuals for an intensive, highly confidential experience designed to examine what may be limiting the next stage of their performance, decision-making and progress. It is deliberately small. It is deliberately selective. And it is not conventional coaching or therapy.

Why The Twelve Exists

The Twelve was created to provide something increasingly difficult to find at the highest levels of achievement: a private environment in which accomplished individuals can stop performing competence for others, examine what is actually happening beneath the surface, and address the internal constraints that success itself can sometimes conceal.

Elizabeth’s Role

Elizabeth leads The Twelve personally. Her role is not to provide another set of strategies to already capable people.

It is to help them see what they may no longer be able to see alone.

A Note on Confidentiality

Discretion has been central to Elizabeth’s work throughout her career. The identities and personal circumstances of former clients will not be used to promote The Twelve. Their confidentiality remains exactly that — confidential.Participants in The Twelve can expect the same seriousness of approach to privacy, trust and discretion.
